The IRAD facility at the University of Illinois at Springfield is located on the first level of Norris L. Brookens Library on the main campus. Brookens Library was the first permanent building on campus and is situated in the middle of campus. IRAD at the University of Illinois at Springfield is housed with the University Archives.

Visitors are urged to park in Lot B on the east side of Brookens Library. Lot B is about a five minute walk to the front entrance of the library.
