ILLINOIS STATE DATA CENTER PROGRAM

The Illinois State Data Center is a cooperative program between the State of Illinois and the U.S. Census Bureau to make census information and data available to the public through a network of organizations.

The Illinois State Data Center Cooperative (ISDCC) was established to carry out this mission and consists of a five member consortium. Members include the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity, as lead agency, and Northeastern Illinois Planning Commission, Northern Illinois University, University of Illinois at Chicago, and the Business and Industry Data Center at the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity, identified as coordinating agencies. Together, these organizations serve as the principal service and delivery units for the ISDCC.

Each organization can be a source for 1980, 1990, and 2000 censuses. (Coordinating agencies work primarily on a cost recovery basis for their services.) The following is a list of contracts:
