Live and Learn System Technology Grants from the Illinois State Library, part of the Secretary of State "Live and Learn" funding initiative, are being used by the 12 regional library systems to establish and enhance systems’ connections to the Internet and support additional Internet related services for member libraries. Services and configuration vary by library system, but in general the Live and Learn funding is being used to provide direct Internet connectivity at system headquarters and for "online" members of the system’s shared bibliographic database (LLSAP), and dial-in capability for other libraries in the system. For more information on Live and Learn grants, contact the Illinois State Library Development Group at 217-524-8836.
