Illinois Public Library Annual Report (IPLAR)

Every public library in Illinois is required by law (75 Illinois Compiled Statutes (ILCS) 5/4-10 and elsewhere) to file this annual report with the State Library. The purpose of this report is to obtain and publish data on the resources and services of all Illinois public libraries for use by all concerned. Each library is asked to file this report with its regional library system headquarters as soon as possible upon and no later than 30 days after completion of its fiscal year. Public library districts have 60 days after completion of their fiscal year to complete the Illinois Public Library Annual Report.
