Consumers may now search the records of the Securities Department to determine if a business broker and its representatives, business opportunity offering or loan broker is currently registered with the Department. The returned record of a current registrant will list the following information, including: entity name, mailing address, business telephone number, contact person and in the case of a business broker, the names of all registered representatives who conduct business on behalf of the firm in Illinois.
