The Illinois Pan Hellenic Trust Fund was created for African-American fraternities and sororities to aid in the funding of charitable activities. Proceeds from the sale of Kappa Alpha Psi License Plates are deposited into the fund and distributed to the various charitable activities supported by these fraternal organizations.

The Kappa Alpha Psi License Plates are multi-year and may be displayed on passenger vehicles and on trucks and vans weighing 8,000 pounds or less.

Currently Registered Vehicle

  • First-time issuance - $118
    ($78 registration fee + $40 Illinois Pan Hellenic plate fee)
  • Current plates expire within 90 days - $147
    ($78 registration fee + $40 Illinois Pan Hellenic plate fee + $29 replacement fee)
  • Current plates do not expire within 90 days - $69
    ($40 Illinois Pan Hellenic plate fee + $29 replacement fee)
  • Annual renewal - $105
    ($78 registration fee + $27 Illinois Pan Hellenic plate fee)

Newly Acquired Vehicle

    ($65 title fee + $78 registration fee + $40 Illinois Pan Hellenic plate fee)

  • Illinois Pan Hellenic license plates are multi-year and may be displayed on passenger vehicles, trucks and vans weighing 8,000 pounds or less and Sport Utility Vehicles.
