SPRINGFIELD –– All Secretary of State offices and
facilities will be closed for Christmas and New Year’s,
Secretary of State Jesse White announced today. Both
holidays are observed by all state agencies.
Driver Services facilities outside Cook County and the
Chicago West, Midlothian and Niles facilities in Cook
County, normally open Tuesday through Saturday, will be
closed Saturday, Dec. 23, for Christmas, and will resume
business Tuesday, Dec. 26. Those facilities also will be
closed Saturday, Dec. 30, for New Year’s, and will reopen
Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2001.
All offices normally open Monday through Friday will be
closed Monday, Dec. 25, for Christmas, and will reopen
Tuesday, Dec. 26. Those offices also will be closed Monday,
Jan. 1, 2001, for New Year’s, and will resume business
Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2001.
