Offices to Close for Lincoln's, Washington's Birthdays
SPRINGFIELD ––
All Secretary of State offices and
facilities will be closed for Lincoln's and Washington's
Birthdays, Secretary of State Jesse White announced today.
The only exception is the Ford City facility, which is open
seven days a week in the Ford City Mall. Both holidays are
observed by all state agencies.
All offices that normally are open Monday through
Friday will be closed Friday, Feb. 11, for Lincoln's
Birthday, and will reopen Monday, Feb. 14. Those facilities
also will be closed Monday, Feb. 21, for Washington's
Birthday, and will resume business Tuesday, Feb. 22.
Driver Services facilities outside Cook County and the
Chicago West, Midlothian and Niles facilities in Cook
County, which normally are open Tuesday through Saturday,
will be closed Saturday, Feb. 12, for Lincoln's Birthday,
and will reopen Tuesday, Feb. 15. Those facilities also will
be closed Saturday, Feb. 19, for Washington's Birthday, and
will resume business Tuesday, Feb. 22.
