CHICAGO — All Secretary of State offices and facilities will be closed Thursday and Friday, Nov. 27-28, for Thanksgiving, Secretary of State Jesse White announced today. Driver Services facilities outside of Cook County and also the Chicago West, Midlothian and Niles facilities, which are normally open Tuesday through Saturday, will resume business hours Saturday, Nov. 29. All offices normally open Monday through Friday will reopen Monday, Dec. 1.
Additionally, Driver Services facilities that are open Monday through Friday and that usually have extended hours on Wednesdays, will instead be open from 8:30 - 5:30 on Wednesday, November 26. The holiday is observed by all state agencies.
