Jesse White Announces Online Annual Report Filing for Limited Liability Companies

Secretary of State Jesse White announced that limited liability companies (LLC) operating in the state are now able to file their required annual reports via the Internet.

Beginning this month, people can visit www.CyberdriveIllinois.com to file the Annual Report for their LLC with the Secretary of State's Department of Business Services on a "real-time" or immediate basis.

Previously documents were submitted through the mail or in person by visiting one of the Secretary of State's Business Services offices.

"This is part of our ongoing plan to make business transactions more efficient and convenient by using the Internet," White said. "It saves paper and is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week."

There are 122,507 limited liability companies registered in Illinois. Corporations have had the ability to file annual reports online since January of this year.

The filing fee is $250.00 with a payment process fee of $6.25, and payments can be made with Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express or with an e-check.

In addition to those services, the Illinois Secretary of State's office currently offers Internet services for Uniform Commercial Code filing and Certificates of Good Standing for both corporations and limited liability companies.
