Jesse White Brings Office Services to ISU

Secretary of State Jesse White is reminding Illinois State University students, faculty and staff that they can renew their driver's license or state ID card, purchase their annual vehicle license plate sticker, register to be an organ and tissue donor or conduct other transactions with his office on the Normal campus Thursday, December 6, 2007.

White's office will provide certain driver and vehicle services on campus from 9:30 am to 2:30 pm in the Old Main Room of the Bone Student Center.

"This partnership between the Secretary of State's Office and Illinois State University is a great example of how my office can work with public and private institutions to make these transactions more convenient," White said.

Secretary of State employees will be on hand to renew, replace or correct driver's licenses and state ID cards. Acceptable forms of payment include personal checks and cash. The mobile unit cannot process credit or debit cards.

Customers may also purchase vehicle registration renewal stickers for license plates as well as Illinois State University specialty license plates, passenger vehicle license plates and B-Truck plates. Other services available include vehicle title registration and parking placards for persons with disabilities. A complete list of acceptable forms of identification is available at: www.CyberDriveIllinois.com.

White's office will again provide these same services on campus January 31, March 21 and April 24.
