Offices to Close for Independence Day

Illinois Secretary of State Jesse White announced that the Executive Office as well as Driver Service facilities normally open Monday through Friday will be closed on Friday, July 3, 2009, for Independence Day.

Driver Service facilities outside of Cook County, and also the Chicago West, Midlothian, Diversey Express and Niles facilities that are normally open Tuesday through Saturday will be closed on Saturday, July 4, 2009.

Driver Service facilities that are normally open Monday through Friday will reopen for normal business hours on Monday, July 6, 2008. Tuesday through Saturday Driver Service facilities will reopen Tuesday, July 7, 2009 during normal business hours.

Individuals can visit the Secretary of State’s Web site, www.cyberdriveillinois.com, to change an address, register to be an organ donor or renew license plate stickers if they have received a renewal form by mail.
