VEHICLE SHOW
Please join us on Saturday, September 7, 2013, for the 64th Illinois Secretary of State Vehicle Show and Swap Meet in downtown Springfield. The car show is held rain or shine at the corner of Second and Capital Streets, in front of the State Capitol Building. First-, second- and 3rd-place awards will be given in more than 57 classes for antique cars, trucks, motorcycles, tractors, RVs and scooters. One Marquee Award celebrating the Chrysler will be given and one Illinois State Champion will be recognized. Registration is $15 per vehicle, or $20 after September 1. Special event license plates are available to celebrate this historic event. The show’s registration tent will open at 7 a.m. and close firmly at 10 a.m. All cars are parked on a first-come, first served basis. Judges will convene at 10:30 a.m. under the tent for a quick meeting, and judging will begin at approximately 10:45 a.m. Awards are presented at approximately 3 p.m.
